He was united in holy matrimony to Ernestina Coronado on July 6, 1948. This union was blessed with thirteen children. His wife Ernestina preceded him in death on January 28, 2003.
He was a caring husband, father, grandfather, and brother. His life will be valued in the lives of his children: Frances Hernandez, Geronimo Lopez (RIP), Consuelo (Connie) Lopez, Elvira Hernandez, Victor Lopez, Bertha Alicia Lopez (RIP), Eliza Dabbagh, David Lopez, Jesus Lopez, Bertha (Pat) Lopez, Joe Lopez (RIP), Ma. De Los Angeles Lopez (RIP), and Eduardo (Ed) Lopez. Francisco also leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; as well as brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces in Mexico.
Francisco was deeply spiritual; as a fervent Catholic, he was an active member at San Judas Tadeo Catholic Church. Panchito’s generous spirit led him to be passionate in helping with church activities and in particular aiding St. Anthony’s Seminary.
A Funeral Service in memory of Francisco will be held on January 25, 2019 at Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N Resler Dr, El Paso, TX 79912. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with the Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be January 26, 2019 9:00 am at San Judas Tadeo Catholic Church, 4006 Hidden Way, El Paso, TX 79922. Following the mass, Francisco will be interred alongside his wife, Ernestina, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in his name to the San Judas Tadeo Catholic Church Building Fund.
