A proud Korean War Veteran Francisco "Kiko" Tovar went peacefully on October 29th, 2023 at the age of 91 surrounded by his wife, children and sister. A main stable to Kiko's attire was his Korean War Veteran cap in which he wore even in his last days with pride. Kiko said his prayers daily and found peace in doing so.
Kiko was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas.
Kiko is survived by his wife of 68 years Socorro, his 5 children; Fernando (Alison), Maria (Robert), Albert (Georgina), Lilli (Jose), Melissa, 7 Grandchildren; Jennifer (Duane), Stephanie (Jaime), Jose III, Jacob (Diana), Jeremy (Ashley), Alexandria, and Daniela, 5 Great Grandchildren; Devin, Jasmine, Damion-James, Santana, and Chesney. Along with his brother Arturo (Jesusita) and sister Margarita (Duran) and several nieces and nephews.
Kiko was predeceased by parents Pedro Tovar and Gregoria Tovar and siblings Jose and sister in law Esther Tovar, sister Carmen and brother in law Macedonio Rojas.
Kiko was a proud Grandfather and was referred to as Grandpa Texas and Boy.
Kiko's family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Cimarron Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their 5 years of care and to El Paso Hospice for their support.

Sunday November 5th, 2023: Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West 5054 Doniphan Dr El Paso, TX 79912
Monday November 6th, 2023: Interment at 1:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906
