Gaydeane Rae Anderson passed peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2022. She was beloved by all she touched. She was born in Wichita, Kansas and from there became a woman of the world. She loved vacationing with her family and journeyed to Europe and all over the United States. The wonderful memories shared by all will be cherished forever.
She was a loving wife to her husband Fred, and devoted to all her children, Mark and Donna, Paul and Billie Jeane, and Adam and Leigh Ann. She was adored by her grandchildren, Tiffany, Haley, Amanda, Sarah, Ryan, Nicole and Andrea. Her great grandchildren, Gavin, Emma, Sophia, James, Esme and Anthony were treasured by her. She was a fiercely loyal and loving friend and will be missed dearly by all she touched.
One of the most talented people on the planet, she would never hesitate to share her talents with the world. Whether it was decorating candles so her young boys could sell them to buy Christmas presents, or extremely elaborate Choir Banquet decorations at the church. She gave all she had no matter the task.
Her generosity knew no bounds: She relished shopping to surprise loved ones with spectacular birthday and Christmas gifts. She would gleefully organize celebrations for any number of special occasions. She welcomed her sons’ friends to stay the summer and perhaps refurbish a sailboat in the driveway during the stay; and on and on. Everyone who walked through the door, invited or unexpected, was greeted with a warm smile and often a warm snack or meal and left with a feeling that they had been the most important person in the room. Everybody felt her love.
Her memorial service will be at Martin Funeral Home East on Friday January 21st from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association, the Wounded Warriors Project or Special Olympics.
