Genevieve O. Teran

Genevieve Teran, 89, entered into eternal peace on September 6, 2017 at Sunridge Cielo Vista following a period of declining health due to dementia. She had her loving family at her bedside. Genevieve was born December 16, 1927, daughter of the late Refugio and Natividad Ortiz. She graduated from Ysleta High School and worked as an election judge. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Willie Sr. and son David. She is survived by her sons Willie Jr., Ronnie (Irene), Michael and daughter Sylvia McCall (Mark), her sister Mary Urban and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren, Erica O' Conner (Jim), Amanda, Kimberly, Christina, Danielle, Robert, Sara, Christopher and Catherine. She loved spending time with her eight great grandchildren who truly brought joy to her life. We will miss you Mom, you were truly the wind beneath our wings. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff members at Sunridge Cielo Vista for the loving care they gave our mother for the past two years. A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, with a vigil at 6:00 pm at F. D. A. Martin East, 1460 George Dieter Drive.
