Those left to mourn her passing include two sons, Gil Padilla and wife Rachel from Las Cruces and David Padilla and wife Monica from Albuquerque; daughter, Cynthia Padilla from El Paso; two brothers, Alejandro Aldaz Jr., and Bobby Aldaz both of Anthony. Other survivors include five grandsons: Michael Padilla and wife Amilia, Ivan Padilla, Ryan Padilla, Lucas Padilla, and Joseph Padilla and one great-granddaughter Marisa Padilla, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and God Children. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Luis R. Padilla, her parents, Alejandro Aldaz Sr. and Consuelo Aldaz, and her brother David Aldaz.
Gloria was a lifelong member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Anthony, NM. For many years, Gloria took pride in her work as a beautician and florist. Her most rewarding work was being a homemaker, where she raised her three children as well as her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Gloria enjoyed many hobbies but had a passion for dancing with her Husband Luis.
Viewing will be on Friday, August 13, 2021, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Rosary from 10:00 to 10:30 AM and Funeral Mass from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. All services will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on 224 Lincoln Ave., Anthony, NM 88021.
