Gloria C. Torres

Gloria was born on February 25, 1975, in El Paso, Texas, to her loving parents, Maria O. and Ramon G. Torres. She brought joy wherever she went, known for her warm, easygoing spirit, her radiant smile, and a heart full of compassion that touched everyone she met.

She graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso and devoted her career to Cesar Chavez Academy in the Ysleta Independent School District, where she made a lasting impact on her students and colleagues. Gloria’s kindness, patience, and genuine care created a welcoming space for all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Above all, Gloria was a devoted daughter, granddaughter, godmother, niece, cousin, and dear friend. Her love ran deep, and she will be remembered for the light she brought into every room and the warmth she gave so freely.

She is lovingly survived by her mother, Maria O., and father, Ramon G. Torres; her cherished godson, Adrian E. Espinoza; her aunt, Grace S. Erivez; her godmother, Mary Leyba; her immediate family; and a wide circle of friends who became family.

A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held on:

April 22, 2026, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina Drive, El Paso, Texas 79915, viewing from 5 pm to 7 pm. Rosary at 7 pm.

April 23, 2026, Memorial Service at St. Paul the apostle Catholic Church, 7424 Mimosa Ave., El Paso, Texas 79915, at 12 noon,

Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, TX 79938.
