On May 29, 2018 the Lord requested Gloria’s presence to a place of peace with her mother Emma Martinez, and grandmother Luz N. Martinez. Our loving wife, mother, and grandmother is survived by her husband Ralph Torres, Daughter Leticia Arreola, (spouse Luis G. Arreola), Sons, Robert (Bobby) Torres, (spouse Lisa Torres), Michael Torres and her Brother Ricardo Rubalcaba. Grandchildren; Bianca Arreola (fiancé Jesus Felix) Megan Torres, Michael (Mikey) Torres, Nick Gonzalez, Taylor Emma Torres and her caretaker Luz.
Our mother was an exceptional woman with a heart of gold. She lived for her family. "We were her sunshine, "and she was our Shining Star”.
Gloria, loved to dance ballet folklorico, she loved to go out and eat with cousins (Golden Girls) Vicky and Terry, she loved to go shopping at Kohl’s and Macy’s. She also loved oldies music, her favorite songs were: Angel Baby, Duke of Earl and the Twist by Chubby Checker .
On May 12, 2018, she mentioned, “Remember this… Life changes, Love doesn’t change.” So when you read our Shinning Stars Obituary, it will leave you with a smile, because that’s the impression she left every time you were around her.
