Guadalupe “Lupita” B. Garza, born October 1955, in El Paso, Texas, passed away November 2025. She was a loving mother to Henry David Arteaga and Christopher Matta, a devoted grandmother to Andrew, Issaih, Joshua, Ysabelle, Maximo, Giselle, and Lucca, and a cherished sister to Ana, Alma, Joel, Aurora, and Daniel.
Lupita graduated from Austin High School, earned a Bachelor’s in Marketing from UTEP, and completed an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design Technology from EPCC.
She built a meaningful career in marketing, sales, and community outreach and was known for her creativity, warmth, and strong faith.
A dedicated member and employee of Cielo Vista Church, Lupita was loved for her humor, compassion, and the joy she brought to others. She entered the presence of the Lord after a courageous health journey, leaving behind a legacy of love and grace.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Cielo Vista Church, 3585 Lee Trevino Dr., on Saturday, December 20th at 10:00 a.m.
