Hector V. Tellez

The Man, the myth, the legend, our beloved father, Hector V. Tellez, born May 21, 1937, entered into eternal life on January 6, 2019 . He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Petra G. Tellez, his parents Gilberto and Manuela Tellez, a beloved brother Gilbert Tellez, two lovely sisters Dora Salcido, Lucy Gomez . Left to mourn are his two other lovely sisters Maria Luisa Ramos and Gloria Gonzalez, children Gilbert Tellez, Sylvia Tellez (Robert), Charlie Tellez (Laura), Samuel Tellez (Isela), Hector Tellez, Jr (Joy), Henry Tellez (Mayte) and Linda Garcia (Shawn) and 21 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, January 11, 2019 at 9:00 am at San Luis Rey Church in Chamberino, NM, with vigil service at 10:00 am, Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:30 am, and Rite of Committal at the Chamberino Cemetery. Pallbearers Jake Tellez, Jason Tellez, Matthew Miramontes, Andrew Miramontes, Stevie Rae Tellez, Gabriella Tellez, Hector Moreno, Rene Acosta. Honorary Pallbearers Santiago Barela, Jaedynn Mae Tellez, Amanda Cholome.

Baby Tellez, as he was fondly known as will be greatly missed by many. Services under the direction of Hillcrest Funeral Home.

Rest in Peace Mr. Tellez! I was so happy I got to meet you my fellow Bronco Fan! You were so loved by everyone and well respected by family and friends! You and your family always made me feel so welcome! May the Lord bless you and hold you in his arms! My greatest condolences for the family!

Rest in Peace Primo. You left behind a great legacy and raised a wonderful family. Once again you can meet up with your wife Peggy and your crazy primo's Luis and Elias, I remember the times when you three would get together and have everyone crying with laughter. Condolence for all who loved him.
