HENRY M. DITTERT, M.D., 85, went home to be with the Lord on May 26, 2022 in El Paso, Texas. Dr. Dittert was a faithful member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Austin, where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher for 36 years and a Boy Scout leader. He was a past president of Heart O’ Texas Orchid Society, and his green thumb was evidenced by beautifully landscaped yards wherever he lived. He enjoyed sailing in Austin area lakes, reading widely, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of First Baptist Church El Paso since 2001.
