Henry was born in Orange County, California. He lived life loudly, boldly, and unapologetically. He had the biggest heart and never met a stranger. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome, talking to anyone like an old friend, and bringing energy into every room he entered. Whether it was long nights with the loudest music imaginable, unforgettable stories, or simply his larger-than-life presence, Henry left an impression that people will carry with them forever.
He raised two children on his own the best way he knew how and was deeply loved by his family and those closest to him. He was known not only for his wild spirit, but also for his strength and resilience throughout his battle with cancer.
Henry is survived by his loving children, who will miss him more than words could ever express: Bobby J., Felicia (Travis), and Stephen (Karen). He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Anthony, Nyana, Dalton, Mason, and Daniel; his mother, Trinidad; and his brothers John (Mari), Tony (Vivian), Edward, Charles, and Richard.
He has reunited in heaven with his father, Manuel, and his brothers Bobby and Steven.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Remarkable Hospice team for the excellent care for Henry. We would also like to especially thank his brother Charles for caring for Henry with such compassion, love, and dignity during his final days.
Though his voice may be quiet now, the laughter, stories, music, and wild spirit he brought into this world will never be forgotten.
