She was born on February 22, 1939 in Cd. Juarez, Chih., Mexico and is survived by her four sons: Pedro II
(Maggie), Edgar (Megan), Eric (Laura), and Omar (Christina). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Brianna, Lexi, Pedrini, Gabriella, Alexandra as well as her sister Carmen Yanar.
She is preceded in death by her husband Pete Borrego, Father Serafin Garcia, Mother Carmen Garcia and brother Jesus Serafin Garcia (Chacho).
Hilda was a very successful business woman, starting the family business in 1972 and successfully operating it for over 50 years along with her husband and sons.
Hilda loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a devoted Catholic who attended daily mass and gave generously to many Catholic Charities. She will be missed and loved by all who knew her.
Vigil will take place at 11:00 a.m. on July 1, 2026 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1551 Belvidere St., El Paso, TX 79912, followed immediately by the funeral mass at 12:00 p.m.
