Ingrid Luise Boswell

Ingrid Luise Boswell, gained her wings on January 14, 2023, in her sleep. Ingrid was born to Emil and Hildegard Voith in Mahr. Schonberg, Czechoslovakia on December 23, 1938. She grew up in Freising, Germany, and went to college in Munich, Germany and earned her degree in education and became a kindergarten teacher. In Freising she met and married the love of her life Gene Boswell in 1959 and moved to the United States and became an American citizen. Ingrid worked as a professional printer for 30+ years, working in many positions at Sunland Park Racetrack and Ruidoso Downs Racetrack. Ingrid loved the game of golf and was a member of a ladies' golf group that played on Tuesdays at the Underwood Ft. Bliss Golf Course. Ingrid enjoyed games, painting and chocolate. She will be missed for her humor, love and caring personality. Ingrid was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ralph Eugene "Gene" Boswell on May 22, 2009, her mother, Hildegard Voith passed away in 1982. She is survived by her children Ralph Michael Boswell, Deirdre Jeanne Boswell and LeeAnn Nichols and her husband Eddie Nichols of Tularosa, NM; grandchildren Kailey and husband Paxton Piper; great grandchildren Haven Gracelyn, Oakleigh Joy and Hunter Abigail Piper of IL and Erica and Madison Parsons of KY, and Rochelle Bartlett of Roswell, NM.
