Irene Rivera 50 years of age passed away peacefully on August 8, 2014. She is preceded in death by her father: Nicolas A. Rivera. Irene is survived by her mother: Margarita Gomez; step-father: German Gomez; daughter: Alison Rivera; sisters: Lorraine Rivera, Sandra R. Gamez and Deanne Elsey. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 9 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 9:15 am at St. Mark's Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
