Irma (Terrazas) Lucero of El Paso, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026, in the loving embrace of her family. She was born on November 03, 1947, to Mike and Sandy Terrazas in Ysleta, Texas.
Irma graduated from Fabens High School in 1966 and attended The University of Texas at El Paso where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She was a proud member of the UTEP Gold Diggers dance team.
Irma married her beloved husband, Armando A. Lucero, in 1979. Spending 44 loving years together. She worked for the Ysleta Independent School District for 25 years, as an elementary teacher. Teaching and enriching small children's lives was her passion.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents, Mike Terrazas Sr. and Sandy E. Terrazas, and her husband Armando A. Lucero.
She is survived by her sister Rachel Terrazas -Aguinaga (Roberto), brother Mike Terrazas Jr. (Aracely), nephews Mike Terrasas III (Jie Wu), Bobby Aguinaga Jr, and niece Sandra Marie Terrazas.

Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915, on September 15, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Rosary at Hillcrest Funeral Home that same evening from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Church, 1700 George Dieter Dr, El Paso, TX 79936, on September 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Committal Service at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
