Irma was preceded in death by her parents Ruben and Emma Martinez, her nephew Martin Martinez Jr, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived by her sister/buddy/partner in crime, Gloria (Richard), brothers Martin (Yolanda), Ruben Jr (Angelica), sister Lynda (Oscar)
She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, whom she saw as her own kids, Cyndi (Frank), Mark (Clare), DJ (Amanda), and Deirdre; her great nieces and nephews, Rubian Nevae, Maddie, Marty-Zalo, Penelope, Francis, Zachary, Adrian, Ava, Frankie "Moo Moo" and Amorette, lastly her fur babies Bella and Lola.
She was a beautiful sister, friend, and a loving aunt who went out of her way to help others.
Irma was a dedicated employee with Del Sol Medical Center as a Registered Clerk for the past 25 years. She enjoyed going to work and seeing people. She loved her coworkers dearly and would come home after work and tell stories on how her day went.
Irma's biggest love was hearing her music from Barry Manilow to Bryan Adams and listening to Classic Rock cause as she said "80's ruled!"
She was also a diehard San Francisco 49er fan, cheered while watching the games as if she were there, she never missed a game and plans had to be around after her game because she wasn't going anywhere.
Visitation will be Friday, December 5, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 9:00pm with a vigil service at 7:00pm at Crestview Funeral Home located at 1462 North Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas 79936. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 10:00 am at San Antonio Catholic Church, 503 Hunter Dr, El Paso, Texas 79915. Interment will follow at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907.
Serving as pallbearers are Martin Martinez, Ruben Martinez Jr, Mark Martinez, DJ "David" Flores, Rubian Martinez, Steve Carr, Frank Amparan, and Gilbert "Gil" Lopez. Honorary pallbearers will be Cyndi Martinez, Fernando Martinez, David Martinez, Isaac Arzola, and Aaron "AJ" Martinez.
