Isabel is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Yolanda and Miguel Garcia and Lilia and Rudy Contreras, Sr.; and, her grandchildren, Rudy Contreras, Jr. (Pearl), Marcos Garcia (Valerie), Christy Lopez (David) and Omar Garcia (Becca). She leaves seven great grandchildren, Jacob and Ryan Contreras; Alyssa, Ethan and Isaiah Lopez; Marcelino Garcia; and, Arabella Garcia.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Lamberto Arredondo, Jr; her husband, Lamberto (Beto) Arredondo and infant great grandchild, Marcelo Garcia.
Our mother and grandmother was a wonderful caregiver to her husband, daughters, sons in law and grandchildren. She was also a caregiver to multiple nieces and nephews and always lend a hand to all.
She was a member of Cristo Rey Catholic Church and had a lifetime devotion to the rosary.
We want to thank the wonderful staff at Bienvivir where she was a participant for five years and to the compassionate caregivers at Scottsdale.
A visitation for Isabel will be on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915, with a Vigil beginning at 7:00 PM. The funeral mass will be at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette, at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
