Jaime Antonio Munoz

Jaime A. Munoz Sr; passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016. Jaime was a Sergeant in the Marine Corps with the Fourth 8 Inch Howitzer Battery under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Enrique Hernandez. Jaime was a past Grand Knight with Council 11926 with St. Thomas Aquinas Church, and past Navigator with the Cristo Rey Assembly Fourth Degree with the Knights of Columbus. As well as a retiree from the YISD school district - transportation department.

Jaime is survived by his wife: Elvira (Vera), son: Jaime A. Munoz, Jr; daughter: Gloria Cobian, son-in-law: John Cobian, and his three grandchildren: Jaime A. Munoz III, Gavi Cobia, and John J. Cobian III. He is also survived by two brothers: Victor, and Juan Munoz, four sisters: Esther Munoz, Ofelia Sosa, Luz Elena Ordonez, and Nellie Villagomez, along with several nieces, nephews, and countless friends. A Rosary will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at St. Raphael Catholic Church at 1:30pm with a Mass at 2pm. A private inurnment will be held at Mount Carmel Cemetery at a later date. Services are under the direction of Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina, 598-3332.
