I am writing this message 10 years late, I was unaware that Jimmy passed.  I worked for the Triple B Cattle Company back in the 70's when the Foreman was Alex Mahle.  My wage was $25/week + Room and Board.  I didn't mind though, I was happy working hard and being out on my horse in nature.  I did keep the Ranch running at a time when Alex went missing for a couple of months!  Back in about 2004, on a business trip, I stopped in at his restaurant and low and behold, he walked in dressed out as a cowboy.  He sat down with me and we had a great conversation.  Jimmy was a great man, and I thank him for hiring me and giving me the chance to become a real cowboy.  I will miss you my friend, Rest In Peace

Condolences to the family. I worked on the ranch with Mr Mahle when I was a teenager, and I have carried those memories through my life.  I had the pleasure of visiting with Jim at his restaurant a few years back, and had planned to make another trip down someday. He was a truely unique individual, and he will be missed.

Rest in peace Mr. Bowen.  Thank you for your service to our country as well as to our men and women continue to serve.  It was always a great joy to speak to you about your service as well as El Paso and its history.

So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing.  I remember him fondly.

Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army in Korea fighting the Communist Chinese and North Koreans. Because of you and your fellow Servicemen, millions of South Koreans were able to live in freedom and peace and make their country one of the most prosperous of the Free World. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
