Jason Andrew Prine Sr., our loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and loyal Friend left this world on a journey to join his loved ones on September 16, 2019. We were lucky to have him as long as we did and are grateful for all the special moments we shared with him. A dedicated Father, he was more than ready to share stories and accomplishments of his boys with anyone who would listen. He was an extra proud Grandfather of his Jaxon and Shelby and made sure he showered them with hugs and kisses every chance he got. He was a Brother to two sisters and often laughed endlessly remembering childhood pranks. He was an Uncle who made sure that his nieces and nephews did the right thing and offered his advice and guidance along with a few good jokes. Most of all he was a fiercely loyal friend and kept many friendships for decades on end but easily befriended everyone he came in contact with. He leaves big shoes to fill and even bigger voids in our hearts as we all can agree we will miss him deeply. His humor and quick wit will truly be missed but certainly not forgotten. He is survived by his sons, Jason Prine Jr. (Roxanne), and Justin Prine, grandchildren, Jaxon and Shelby, former spouse Laura Prine, sister, Alicia Burton, Nephew, Adan Rubio(Sarai), Nieces Elisa and Yasmin Rubio. He is preceded in death by his parents John Prine, Leticia Burton and his sister Letty Adriana Prine. A special appreciation to the Madrid, Quijano, and Dominguez families for all their love and support. The family would also like to thank the staff of Davita Mission Hills for their compassionate care.
Viewing will be Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a memorial service held in his honor at 7 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home – West, 5054 Doniphan Dr.
