He was born in El Paso and was the eldest of his parents six children: Himself, Veronica, Alejandro Elias, Joel, Claudia Aide, and Omar. Javier graduated from Socorro High School in 1985 and went on to pursue his interests in ranching, horse racing, and later trucking. In his spare time, he loved being outdoors, tending to the needs of his home, and working alongside his parents.
He was a supportive brother to his sibling’s, helpful son to both of his parents, and a charismatic husband and father to his wife and children.
Javier is survived by his lifelong partner Cristina Quintanilla and their three children, Valerie, Karina, and Esteban. He also leaves behind his two parents, Manuel and Olga Quintanilla and his seven grandchildren. One of Javier’s favorite activities was watching college baseball, and he often rooted for the Texas Longhorns, an organization his younger brother once played for. He chose to live his life passionately and in constant support of his family’s success.
