 You had the brightest smile of any kid I've ever met. I remember how much you liked the my little pony tv show. You even sat me down in the DFAC to explain all the different characters to me. I remember when you asked me to download the my little pony game on my phone so you could play it. I can't believe I'm writing this. You are loved by many & you left way to soon. Enjoy your wings little man. Rest In Paradise.  

I will never forget Jays contagious smile as I would watch him run the circle around Tresco.  My prayers to all of you.  Rest in Paradise Little Man. 

I remember working at WSMR and watching jay. He was such a great kiddo. Always helped me watch my son. As they grew up together they were so fun to watch play. You will never be forgotten Jayvon. ❤️❤️

Karla it was such a blessing to be able to know your lil guy when he was just a baby and watching him grow into a toddler in Germany. He was so sweet once I had my babygirl the way he was gentle with her and wanted to hold her like a big brother. I enjoyed every bit of watching you as a great mother and also watching him grow into the cute respectful young man. He always had a bright eyed smile that reminded me of his mom’s personality and genuine gestures. You raised an Awesome kid who will truly be missed by everyone in his path. I’m thankful to have met a true angel. May God give you comfort in all your days knowing he is with his Father God and you have done a job well done caring for his angel 👼. I love you sis and I’m sending my love ❤️ and warm hugs to you. I wish I could’ve been there in the physical with you today. I’ll continue to pray for your strength. 💞 God Bless sweetheart! 

It’s a lot of good memories with Jay. The days at WSMR and EP was great just seeing him grow up and time fly by. I always ask you what was you feeding him because he was growing fast from seeing him being a little boy. I was glad to get invited to his talent shows, school plays, etc. Just being able to seeing how you raised your little man, he was going to be a great man so sad to lose him at a young age. 

Our deepest condolences to you Karla and Tomas for your loss; such a young life gone to heaven. He is a true Angel of God. Lots of prayers for you and family. Love O&S

Conocí a Jay hace algunos años, cuando vino a Perú. Él y mi hija se hicieron amigos instantáneamente. Compartieron la arena, el mar, el sol y estoy seguro, una conexión tan pura como el cariño que se tuvieron siempre. Jay solía decirle a Brisa, mi hija, "Te voy a proteger, no te preocupes". Luego, regresábamos a casa de su abuelo Fidel Rebata, y comíamos juntos.
Jay vive en mi memoria como un niño sonriente, feliz y lleno de una bondad asombrosa, que ha marcado para siempre mis recuerdos sobre él.

I will never forget the day you guys came to my house. That’s the day he met Layla and was playing with her. It put a smile on my face.  That day I was trying to make Beignets for Layla’s upcoming birthday party and Jay was the only one that came into the kitchen to help me out. He saw me burn myself of course. Jayvon es un angelito que partió y dejó a su mamá junto a su abuelita y a su abuelita junto a su mamá para que ambas se acompañen y estoy convencida que siempre velará por ustedes. Jay was a very sweet and precious boy. I had the pleasure of knowing him, even if for a short period of time. When we spent this last holiday with him, he always had a shinning smile on his face. He was timid but I could always tell he at least enjoyed being around us with his expressions. I’ll dearly miss him and send my condolences to his mother and those that were closest to him during this time. 

I remember when I was pregnant with my daughter that Jay would rub my belly and say that it was his baby no one else's baby. The first time he saw her he gave her kisses on her head. He was always such a sweet little boy. He use to make my day when I got to spend time with him. Rest in Peace Jay monkey. You will forever be in my heart.

Oh little man you are amazing. I loved hanging out with you when you went through your Frozen obsession faze (when we know that I totally dislike it 😂) and many movie nights. 
Thank you for always being sweet to me (and sassy) and honestly watching you grow helped me decided to start working with children after my time in the Army. 
Keep an eye over all of us little man❤️

Jayvon,  lovely, adorable sweet happy child. I feel so blessed to have been a part of your life. It was wonderful talking to your family and sharing our love for Peru.  Karla you are a great mother, and I thank you for trusting and allowing us to care for Jayvon during your deployment he is now with our precious father in Heaven. 
 Thanks be to God for his grace, comfort, and peace , it is beyond our understanding and we are grateful for his embrace and presence for your lives.
