Jennette Zwittag

Born in El Paso, Texas to Cecilia, and Joseph Jacques in December of 1976. Jennette had always been a loving daughter, mother, wife, and friend; even up to her untimely death at the age of 46. Surviving a long battle with various health problems and chronic injuries, she had her struggles but never forgot to show the love that she held for those around her.

Jennette was a high school graduate from El Paso High School and then attended Tri-State Cosmetology school so that she may study her passion for hair and beauty. She made every person feel beautiful and accepted no matter the circumstance. Not long after beginning her career as a cosmetologist, she gave birth to her daughter Alicia and married her husband Reynaldo. She wore her heart on her sleeve, and with it always came a tremendous amount of generosity, sensitivity, and compassion for those around her.

Her creativity and artistic sensibilities never faltered throughout her years. She raised her daughter to be a creative young woman and to follow her passions while giving the utmost support. Her experience in choir allowed her to sing beautiful lullabies that would soothe even the fussiest of babies, including her own.

If there is one thing to remember about Jennette, let it be that her heart was full of love for every person she met. To know her, was to have her love and accept you no matter your circumstances or background. For better or worse, her heart was always open to the compassion that the world could bring.

Her remains will be laid to rest at Evergreen East Cemetery, where she will be in the care of her father, who is entombed beside her. She is survived by her daughter Alicia, husband Reynaldo, brother Dean, and mother Cecilia. She will be sure to greet them with a beautiful song and open loving arms upon their passing.

A visitation for Jennette will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 North Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas 79936. A memorial service will occur Monday, July 10, 2023 at 6:00 PM, 1462 North Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas 79936. An inurnment will occur Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, Texas 79938.
