Jesse Jones Jr.

Jesse Jones Jr., 86, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse Sr. and Elizabeth Lee Jones. Jesse Jones Jr. was born in Charleston, South Carolina. Jesse honorably served in the United States Army for twenty years. He successfully completed the UNIVAC program which led him to his career in data processing. He worked as a programmer with the El Paso Natural Gas Company from which he later retired.

Jesse was an avid golfer for the majority of his adult life and participated in and won numerous golf tournaments across the country. He enjoyed golfing with his best buddy John Turner and many friends over the years. Jesse Jones loved the Dallas Cowboys and made sure everyone knew it.

Jesse is survived by his wife of over 58 years Pauline Jones and their children; Kenny and his wife Tina, Mark and his wife Teresa, Sonja, David and his wife Dorothy and Anita. His grandchildren; Aaron, Kenny Justin, Ian, Elliot, Kristen, Jessica and Dylan. His great- grandchildren; Jaden, Katelyn, Margaret, Aaron Jr.,and Lilith. twins Michael and Devon.

Visitation will be at Funeraria Del Angel Kaster- Maxon & Futrell, Thursday, November 17, 2016 8817 Dyer from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.. The Funeral services will be at 9:00 am, Friday, November 18, 2016 at Chapel One located at 315 Pershing on Fort Bliss followed by burial at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
