Jesus A. Chuy "Chuy" Moreno

Jesus A. “Chuy” Moreno went to be with our Lord on February 24, 2015. He was born on September 24, 1964 to Jesus A. Moreno and Belen Villa his parents. He is survived by his son Jesus Angel Moreno and his Daughter Belinda Estela Moreno. He had 4 grandchildren Chasity Marie Moreno Portillo, Brian Aiden Portillo, Daniell Rae Araiza, and Harley Angel Carrillo. He also had 3 brothers Raul Moreno, Jose Moreno, and Gonzalo Flores. His sisters Connie Moreno Valdez, Martha Lozano, Guadalupe Nevarez, and Luz Elena Jimenez. He was a hardworking man that always provided for his family and made sure they had everything they need. He was a happy man and always making jokes of everything. But besides providing for his family and being a jokester he was a man of good character and most important he was a man of God. He also was very kind and not selfish he would put everyone else before himself. He was a friend, father, grandpa and a beloved husband. The love for his wife, Sandra Moreno, was a love story they build together for 30 years and 15 years of marriage. His family will miss him, but they know that one day they will see him again under the promise of the Lord. Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

Visitation will be held Sunday March 1, 2015 from 2:00 to 9:00 with a prayer service at 6:00 pm at FDA Martin Funeral Home East.

Funeral Service will be held Monday March 2, 2015 at 1:00pm at FDA Martin Funeral Home East with Interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
