Hello, father, it has been a year and well all is well with me and the world.

Today is a new day and for that I celebrate.

As the saying goes "Everyday is a holiday and every meal is a feast"

Dearest Grandpa,

I will always miss you, your quiet strength, your love, and your constant support.  You are the paragon of elegance and when you danced with Grandma on the dance floor, it took my breath away.  I have always admired you and your service to your country.  You make me proud, and thank you for protecting our country.  Also,  thank you for grilling numero siete, putting together our Christmas gifts, and for making the holidays so special.  You will always be in my heart and prayers.  I love you, Grandpa! Well papa it was a great 65 years we enjoyed life together many games a few trips to Vegas a Marine Corps Ball in Los Angeles a few birthdays and a few fathers days together Godspeed and Semper Fi Marine
