Jesus Huerta

Jesus Huerta, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at home on December 24, 2022 surrounded by family. For 88 yrs he brought love, pride and joy to family and a large circle of friends. He was a man of few words, always putting the needs of his family first. He was a life-long resident of El Paso, Texas and attended Jefferson High School where he met and soon married his high school sweetheart. For decades, he and his wife filled their Sundays at the local Senior Centers by dancing the evening away surrounded by a second family of lifelong friends. He will be remembered for his warmth and kindness. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Helida Huerta, his children, Jesus, Alicia, Luis, Hector, Bobby, Raul, Yvette, Monica and grandchildren / great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday Jan 5th at Hillcrest Funeral Home – 1060 N Carolina from 4pm - 8pm with a Rosary at 6pm. A funeral mass will be held at Cristo Rey Catholic Church Jan 6th at 10am – 8011 Williamette Ave.
