Jesus R. Jaime

Jesus R. Jaime “EL PUNKY”, 69, passed away at home on August 23, 2018 surrounded by his family. Mr. Jaime was a longtime resident of El Paso. He graduated from Bowie High School, Class of 1968, “VIVA LA BOWIE!” he would always say. After high school he proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and continued to be employed by the U.S Government after his Honorable Discharge. He retired after 38 years of federal service in 2008. In 2004, he and his wife, Martha, opened Jaime’s Hut Mexican Restaurant. Mr. Jaime is preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Jaime and brother, Samuel Salazar. He is survived by his wife, Martha R. Jaime and mother, Altagracia Jaime. Children; Rebecca Gonzalez, Arturo Jaime, Jesus R. Jaime Jr, and Jose Adrian Jaime. 9 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, and 5 siblings. We will miss him deeply every day. Visitation will be Monday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with Vigil Service at 7 p.m. at Crestview Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Pius X. Catholic Church. Family Members will serve as Pallbearers. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Directed by CRESTVIEW FUNERAL HOME
