Loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend passed away at the age of 66 on Sunday, February 24, 2019. A lifelong resident of El Paso TX, Jorge worked as a school bus driver for the EPISD for 10 years when he became a Professional Coach Operator for TNMO and Greyhound for over 20 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley with his family and friends, and loved taking Sunday cruises with his wife, Hilda, in his 1959 Chevy Apache pickup. His family was his passion, fishing and traveling with his sons and grandchildren was his favorite pastime. He will truly be missed by all who had a chance to know the caring person he was. Jorge was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Romo Sr., mother, Concepcion Martinez Romo, his sister, Maria Elena Gonzalez and brother, Eduardo Romo. He is survived by his wife, Hilda Romo, his children, Jorge L. Romo Jr. (Micaela), Jennifer Chavez (Ricardo), Mark A. Romo (Raquel), and Matthew J. Romo, sister, Margarita Gonzales, brothers, Jesus Romo Jr. and Ricardo Romo. Jorge also had 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, whom he adored. Visitation: Friday, March 1, 2019 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with Prayer Service at 7:30PM at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 N. Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas, 79936.
