Jorge Anibal Santiago

Jorge Anibal Santiago, age 93, Son of Julio and Aurelia Santiago of Coamo, Puerto Rico passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Josefina of sixty-seven years, and four children Georgie, Cookie, Papo and Nena. He is one of eighteen brothers and sisters, and is survived by seven of them.

MSGT Santiago served in the U.S. Army for thirty-one years and his Legacy of Service and Love continues through his nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

A visitation for Jorge will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A rosary will occur Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 6:00 PM, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A funeral mass will occur Friday, May 19, 2023 at 9:00 AM at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette Ave, El Paso, Texas 79907. A graveside will occur Friday, May 19, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, Fort Bliss, Texas 79906.
