Jose Antonio Carrillo—Born January 10, 1947—Transitioned – December 17, 2013. One of the kindest, loyal, and humble persons in our community and family has departed to join his loved ones in heaven. Tony earned his mansion in heaven by being so good to his family here on earth. He helped his elderly father when he became so ill. Tony, being an only child, helped and cared for his widowed mother until her demise. Later, Tony continued his compassionate ways aiding in any way he could when his father-in-law became a widower and subsequently when he became disabled and needed assistance. Tony loved his many large and small backyard tortoises and was very careful to keep them well fed. He also delighted in finding bargains when it came to tools and home appliances. He kept everything well organized and ready to use whenever anyone needed something fixed or installed. Tony leaves behind his devoted wife of 40 years-Dina Mendoza Carrillo, their sons Bobby (Valerie), Michael (Cindy) and grandchildren-Marissa, Aiden, and Lizzy, (one other on the way). Tony worked for Texas Gas Co. (formerly Southern Union) for 43 years. Tony’s benevolence and warmhearted personality will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Tony loved his family very much and worked hard to provide them with a good home and he set a fine example for his sons.“For the Lord your God has blessed you and all the work of your hand.”-- Deuteronomy 2:7 Rosary will be at 7:00 PM Friday, December 20, 2013 at Harding-Orr-McDaniel 320 Montana Avenue.
