It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jose Garcia, who departed this life on January 20, 2025, in El Paso, Texas. Born in La Mesa, New Mexico. His early years were marked by a strong sense of family and a dedication to helping those around him.
Jose dedicated 43 years of his life to Southern Pacific Railroad, where he worked as the Chief Foreman. Known for his tireless work ethic and steadfast reliability, he was a respected and admired leader among his colleagues. His welcoming demeanor and perpetual smile left a lasting impression on everyone he met. A man of great patience, Jose was known for his calm and kind nature, never raising his voice or engaging in conflict.
Above all, Jose was a loving family man who cherished his children and grandchildren.
Jose’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those he loved will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy is a reminder of the power of kindness, humility, and a life well lived.
He is preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Rosalia Garcia and survived by his three children, Ana Maria Aranda, Linda Garcia, and Jose Garcia JR. His three grandchildren Randy Joe Soto, Ana Melissa Garcia, and Abigail Escobar and his four great grandkids, Aliena, Avianna, Aniah, and Atraius.
