Dad always looked after his children, and helped raise his grandchildren. Grandpa always had many stories to tell. Dad was a great cook, known for the best menudo ever and great tasting tamales made from scratch. He had recipes for homemade candies of all sorts. There wasn’t anything our Dad couldn’t do. He succeeded in making some good wine. He always surprised us with delicious food. Our Dad was so full of life; he was an exceptional man.
He served in the Korean War with the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953 as a PFC in the Infantry Division and received several medals including the Korean Service Medal, Combat Infantry Medal and two Bronze Service Stars.
His family will always cherish his support, guidance and love. Our Dad was a wonderful example of what a loving Father and dedicated Husband should be. Our father was a beautiful and extraordinary man with an optimistic flair for life. He will be greatly missed and will always be honored in the hearts of his loved ones.
And to his family, in his unforgettable words, “I Love You More.”
