Jose Rios Jr.

Jose Carrillo Rios, Jr. (Fiss) passed away peacefully on April 10, 2014. He was born on January 9, 1939, in El Paso, TX. He graduated from Bowie High School, and joined the Navy. He married his beloved wife of 47 years Norma and had two beautiful sons, Rene (deceased) and Richard. He went on to earn a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology. He started his own roofing company, R Systems. He is survived by his wife Norma, son Richard and daughter-in-law Irene, sister Rosa, grandchildren Noreen, Danielle, Bianca, Bobby and Mando, nieces and nephews Laura, Robert, Thalia, and Aaron, and great nephew Zeke. He was a great man, filled with a zest for travel and life. He loved dearly and endlessly, and gave more than one can ever hope to imagine. Although he is gone physically, he will forever live in our hearts, minds, and memories. "Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Psalm 23:6. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm.
