Jose Angel Schaffino Jr.

Born October 26, 1949, he was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas. He graduated from Jefferson High School, was a football player and track runner. He also loved to sing, dance, listen to Classic Rock and enjoyed working on his 56 Chevy pickup truck. He was a successful, charitable HVAC and Welding Business Owner.

He is preceded by his parents Jose A. Schaffino Sr., Maria Schaffino and son John C. Schaffino. He is survived by his brother and sister.

Jose is survived by Rose Mary Schaffino his loving wife of 54 years. His only daughter Evett and (Angel) Magdaleno, his son Rick and (Maria) Schaffino, Phillip and (Lety) Schaffino, his six grandchildren Dominique, Derek, Richard, Charlie, Samantha, John and two great grandchildren Aubrey and D’Angelo.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 4th, 2024 from 5pm-9pm with the rosary to begin at 7pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina. A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 at 12pm at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 8600 Winchester Rd. with a burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery East 12400 Montana Ave.
