Josefina A. Hernandez

Josefina Aguilar Hernandez, 98, a lifelong resident of El Paso passed away on Saturday July 30, 2022. Mrs. Hernandez was a housewife and a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church where she was a volunteer worker for many years. She was a member of the Altar Society, The Catholic Daughters and would also wash the vestments for the Priests. She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Gabriel Hernandez, her father Jose G. Aguilar, her mother Luisa Aguilar and her brother Jaime Aguilar. She is survived by her sons Jose Luis Hernandez and Carlos Hernandez; her daughter Irma H. Flores (Victor); her cousins Esther Alvarez (Ernesto) and Cata Rodriguez. Visitation will be held on Monday August 8, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N. Carolina El Paso, TX 79915. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday August 9, 2022 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 8600 Winchester Rd followed by the interment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
