Josefina Emma Perez

Josefina Emma Perez, 98, passed away peacefully on December 9th, 2025. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church in El Paso. Emma was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Vicente Perez; also by her parents-Ciro and Josefina Garcia; brothers-Ciro Garcia, Frank Garcia, Enrique Garcia; and sister, Bertha Carpio.

Emma is survived by her sister, Martha Aguilera; sons- Rev. Fr. Viktor Perez, Order of Friars Minor, CONV, Jorge Perez (Terry), Sergio Perez (Sylvia), and daughter Maria Perez (Carlos).

She has nine grand children and ten great grand children; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, whom she deeply loved.

Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home from 4:00pm to 9:00pm on Monday, December 29th, 2025. A rosary service will commence at 7:00pm. A mass of the resurrection will be held at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette, at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025, with Rev. Fr. Viktor Perez, Order of Friars Minor CONV, officiating.
