She loved spending time in the mountains of Ruidoso at the family cabin. She graduated from Austin High School in 1966. She continued her education at UTEP, where she graduated with a bachelors in education. JoAnn was lucky enough to teach her 40 year career at Vista Hills Elementary, where she touched the lives of many young students.
She is survived by her loving husband Willie Beltran, son William Derek Beltran, son Michael Dean Beltran, son Wesley Darin Beltran(Julie), son Timothy Daniel Beltran, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren
