

Josette Flores Silverman “Tita”, beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. She passed away from Alzheimer’s Disease. She was a glamorous lady with a beautiful heart. She was a resident of El Paso, Texas and was a great lover of animals, tennis, music and travel. She treasured her friendships. Her heart was full of love, compassion and loyalty. As a young girl, she attended Loretto Academy. She was a great representative of the Catholic Faith and loved the traditions of Christmas and Easter. She is survived by her son, Todd Silverman and daughter-in-law, Sharon Silverman, daughter, Gina Silverman-Smith and son-in-law, Howard Smith, her brother, Jaime Flores, and sister, Sherleen Hervey. She has five grandchildren, Davis, Sarah, and Cannon Lovett and Taylor and Tyler Silverman, two nieces, Sheryl Caudana and Lena Flores, and a nephew, Lance Gillett. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dania Sapien, Teresa, and wonderful staff at Home Sweet Home, Envision Hospice and Dr. Muneer Assi. A private service will be held by the family at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of El Paso.
