

She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Cirilo Jr, sister Maria V. Rodriguez(Carlos). Nieces: Teresa Vicuna (Terry) and Rosemarie “Rosie” (Richard) Banuelos. Angela “Angie “ Vicuna, Nephews: Erasmo “Moe” Onate, Jesse John Onate, Mike Christopher Frias, Nicklaus Jake Frias, Joey Vicuna and Felix Vicuna, Jr. Great-Nieces: Vianney and Arely Frias. As well, as numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving parents: Cirilo and Angela Vicuna, brothers: Felix and Alfonso, sisters: Manualita Vicuna, Andrea “Chita” (Fidel) Gonzalez and Margaret Vicuna.
Jovita, was born in El Paso, TX. Taught cathetism at Sacred Heart Church, was a member of “Our Lady of Fatima” Blue Army, a beloved bookkeeper of the El Paso City Market for many years. She loved to play “Bingo” and with every vacation trip enjoyed casino stops en route.

A graveside service will occur Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907.
