Our wonderful dad will be missed. He was never big on expressing his feelings, but he didn’t have to because his nurturing care and love was always there. My dad took  me to school and would walk me in to class when I didn’t want too. It was so embarrassed but I understood later he only wanted me to get an education. He set a good example by always volunteering in church, our community was blessed with countless hours he put in to helping our church raise funds. He listen well to mom and followed her everywhere especially going to mass every weekend together. People would comment, they take a whole row. Fun moments were many, he used to take all 14 of us together to the drive in movies, camping at Riodoso, Hueco Tanks. He always had the energy to hike and play with us. He taught is grand children how to spin a top (el trompo). 
He followed in my Padrino’s foot steps. My uncle (padrino) Manuel González taught him his trait and then he went solo by starting his own business, fixing televisions, and radios. I didn’t mind having many televisions around the house plus he had many more to fix and sell. He was always busy working to make an extra dollar. Even though, he was busy he was always ready to have fun with the family. At our birthday parties, he was quick to start a dancing. I enjoyed dancing with him. He even tried to learn how to dance disco,  but those mambo, cha cha cha, and cumbia steps always took over. He was my favorite dancing partner. 
My Father was a joyful person, kind and loving person and I miss him very much. Love you Dad! 

May you rest in peace Grandpa! You will be greatly missed!! ❤
