Juana is survived by her son Jose Castro; and her daughter Alma Rose Hernandez (Jose); her brother Alejandro Alegre and her sister Gloria Rangel; her granddaughter Marlene Melissa Castro, her granddaughter Nylene Joann Castro, her granddaughter Lindsey Jo Castro, her granddaughter Nicolette Hernandez, her grandson Alexis Fabian Hernandez, her great grandchild Abigail Rodriguez, her great grandchild Olyver Rodriguez, her great grandchild Reiner Joe Jones, her great grandchild Kylah Hernandez Evans, her great grandchild Antonio Gabriel Hernandez, her nephew David Ramirez and her dog Bailey.

Juana was preceded in death by her spouse Jose Manuel Castro.

A visitation for Juana will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West, 5054 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Texas 79932. A rosary will occur Monday, July 14, 2025 at 7:00 PM, 5054 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Texas 79932. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 10:30 AM at San Martin De Porres, 1885 McNutt Rd, Sunland Park, New Mexico 88063. An interment will occur Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 11:45 AM at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa, New Mexico 88063.
