Julian,
When I think of you, the first thing that comes to mind is the sound of your voice when you would say "Hey...tio Bill! Whats up?!" There was always warmth and lots of love in your voice, and always a readiness to share and to talk! Your giving love was something you received and retained from your Mom, Dad, and family. And you always shared your love and your heart. It was just natural for you. Your energy was always high and even intense. Sometimes to the consternation of your brothers. :-) I love the memory of you and your brothers with my children as you all were growing up. You were not together alot, holidays mostly, and yet the fun and the teasing one another was a joy to see. As everyone aged, time together became less and less, and so more precious. With me, You would always would share the latest successes and challenges you were facing. I also was always impressed with your spirit. There was a certain indomitability about it. And a desire to "go it alone". While things were tough sometimes, you kept yourself "up"...and willing to push through life. What I will always cherish of our short times together in recent years was how you reminded me of your Dad, my Brother. I could see his face in yours. He loved you dearly...as do all of us. Your memory, your smiling face, and your presence will be with us always. Rest in peace my dear Julian. We will see each other again. Tio Bill

Julian I first met you when you were about 5 years old. I’d babysit your neighbors and you’d come over and hang out with them. You became really close to my brother Ray and I. I have tons of memories of you, but the one I want to share is more recent going back a few months. I saw you at the gas station I got your attention when you walked out you came and gave me a hug you also offered me one of your slim Jim’s ha ha. You walked off to put your gas but instead you drove away forgetting to pump gas you made a u-turn came up and told me seeing my beautiful face distracted you since we hadn’t seen each other for a while that you forgot to pump your gas. Aww Julian you were a great person you’ll truly be missed love you lots. Thank you for being there for Isayah he’s torn up right now without you, and of course the girls love you too. The family appreciates you helping Nate out too. You were one of a kind!! Love you always Melissa Lopez and family!!

The far to short of time I knew Julian I was able to see a man who cared for others. Always had a smile and was extremely polite. He had a kindness for those who had less and was the first to give his last bit of change. He made me laugh and engaged me in many a discussion about life (his version was the most correct of course!). Most of all he loved my daughter as she loved him; with their entire heart and soul. He will be missed, but will continue to be loved by all who knew him. Dinah Kilgore
