Julie Ofelia Villegas, a loving mother, devoted daughter, cherished friend, and compassionate soul, passed away on January 6, 2026, after a courageous year-and-a-half battle with stage four breast cancer. She was 53 years old.
Throughout her life, she balanced hard work with deep devotion to her family. She spent 11 years working at Bank of America. Later, she served as a front desk clerk at Bel Air High School, where her kindness and welcoming spirit left a lasting impression on students, staff, and families alike. Above all, she took great pride in being a stay-at-home mom, a role she embraced with love, patience, and unwavering commitment.
She loved cooking for others, expressing her love through homemade meals shared with family and friends. She had a passion for plants and found joy in nurturing them, just as she did with the people in her life. A true bookworm, she loved getting lost in stories. Her quiet moments were often spent surrounded by books, greenery, and the comfort of home.
Family and friends meant everything to her. Her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was her three children, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally. She was their constant support.
She will be remembered for her gentle heart, her strength, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she cherished so deeply.
She is survived by her three beloved children and husband Ashley Villegas, Chris Villegas, Justin Villegas, and Raul Villegas, and extended family and friends who will carry her memory with them always.
Que en paz descanse.
