Long time El Paso resident June Ann Johnston passed away on December 20, 2022. She was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on January 3, 1945 and grew up in Ocala, Florida. June was a gifted seamstress, creating masterpieces for family and friends throughout her life. She was active in her churches, first St. Luke Methodist Church and later St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry T. Putz and Dolores "Lola" Comerma Putz. She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Cecil "Ed" Johnston, son Ted Johnston (Rosie) of San Antonio, TX and daughter Jan Nichols (Mike) of El Paso TX, as well as grandchildren David Nichols, Allison Nichols and Logan Johnston. Also her brother Victor B. Putz (Libby) Bellevue, Nebraska, niece Christine Putz and nephew Victor B. Putz Jr. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke United
