Karl was known for many things, including the family joke that he was always late. The one exception was the day he was born. In a story that he carried proudly throughout his life, Karl made his entrance into the world in a helicopter while his mother was being flown to the hospital. It was a beginning as unforgettable as the man himself.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Arlene Kay Cortinas, and his stepfather, Lee Davis.
Karl is survived by his loving wife, Susan Luth; his daughter, Tara Nicole Luth; his son, Karl Dean Luth Jr., and his cherished grandson, Logan Ray Luth. He is also survived by his brothers, David A. Luth, Jack R. Luth, Ronald L. Luth, and Allen Ray Luth and wife Maggie; and his nieces, Michelle Cortinas-Bonanno, Emily Luth, and Brittany Wood.
Karl was a devoted husband, a loving dad, and a proud Papa. His presence, humor, and love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
