In High School he met Marsha with whom he had two children, Andrew and Missy. After his separation, Karl continued life as a trucker to provide for his children. The open road called to him for 35+ years of his life. Karl lived open and freely. In 2021 he achieved his lifelong dream of becoming an owner/op. He was diagnosed with cancer in February of this year. Unfortunately the illness was too advanced and progressed fast. He fought a hard battle, but eventually succumbed to the illness. Karl peacefully passed on Thursday June 20, 2024.
He is survived by his son; daughter; five grandchildren and two siblings.
Memorial for Karl will be held Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with Prayer service at 7:00pm, at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St., El Paso, TX 79904. A short service will be held Friday at 9:30am at the same location, burial will follow at 10:30am at Restlawn Memorial Cemetery, 8700 Dyer St., El Paso, TX 79904.
