Karleen Pickle Hourigan, age 86, died peacefully on November 12, 2015 after her struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Karleen was born May 18, 1929 in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of Thomas E. Bass and Stella Mae Bass.
Karleen was a prominent business woman in El Paso having operated El Paso Arts and Crafts prior to her retirement.
She was married to James T. (Terry) Hourigan and they resided together in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
Karleen is survived by her husband, Terry and her three sons Jack Pickle of Cloudcroft, New Mexico, Thomas Pickle of Tucson, Arizona and Michael Pickle of Mission Viejo, California along with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation for family and friends at the Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5054 Doniphan Drive in El Paso between 5 PM and 9 PM, November 18, 2015. Karleen will later be interred at Restlawn Cemetery in El Paso, Texas.
