Katherine Loree Kroeger

Katherine Loree Kroeger passed away on January 5th, 2024. Katherine was born Katherine Loree Hockman in WaKeeny, Kansas September 1st 1932. In 1950 Katherine married LeVern Kroeger who proceeded her in death in 2013 after 63 years of marriage. Katherine and LeVern moved to El Paso in July of 1973 after living in Kansas, Texas, New York, Georgia, Darmstadt Germany, Stuttgart Germany, and Heidelberg Germany while LeVern served in the U.S. Army. Katherine has three surviving children, Robert, Rebecca and Rodney and their spouses Yolanda Kroeger, Bill Meeker and Becky DeWitt. Surviving grandchildren include Devon Kroeger, Andy Avila and Sunshine Avila. Surviving greatgrandchildren include Kaleigha Kroeger and Aiden Avila. Graveside services will be held at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery on February 6th at 11:00 AM.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project.
