Later in life, Kenneth married Hazel Ross and the couple was blessed with two beautiful children, daughter Mary Lou Allen, and Son, Keno Butler.
He worked at Santa Teresa Adolescent Treatment Center for Troubled Children. Kenny was employed by Mr. & Mrs. Phillips as a caregiver for six years until he retired.
Kenny also faithfully attended Destiny Family Christian Center under the leadership of Bishop Richard L. Johnson.
He loved to live life to its fullest. Kenny enjoyed traveling, playing cards, fishing, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, God requested the presence of Kenny into eternal peace.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Johnnie Mae Caliman, Helen Boutte Mable Hill, Mary Ruth Carr, brothers, Clarence E. Butler and Marion Butler.
Kenneth leaves to cherish his memories his memories his wife Hazel Butler, son Keno Butler, daughter Mary Lou Allen and son-in-law Christopher Allen; grandchildren, Christopher Deshawn Allen, Ashia Allen, Aiesha Allen; great grandchildren, Deshawn, Camille, brother, Hayward Butler Jr. and wife Christina;
sisters-in-law Shirley M. Butler, Barbara Butler and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am - 1:00pm with Funeral service at 1:00pm Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer Street, El Paso, Texas 79904. Graveside service will follow at 2:00pm Thursday at Restlawn Memorial Park, 8700 Dyer Street.
